About The Connection

 Hello, we are The Connection

But you probably knew that already : )

The Connection Youth Center is all about high school youth. Teens need a positive environment to retreat to after school, and The Connection offers just that—a place where teens are connecting to causes, purpose, and friends. This is achieved by offering a variety of activities that the teens enjoy including cooking, arts and crafts, games, community service projects, mentoring, and getting help with homework and college prep. Located in Broomfield, The Connection is open for high school teens Monday through Friday.

Mission

The purpose of The Connection is to provide a safe environment where teens can prosper and flourish within themselves and their community, improving their sense of self-value, hope, and visible opportunities.

The Organization

The Connection is a drop-in youth center serving the North Denver metro community. It is led by The Amiable Way, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and follows the guidance of the Board of Directors.

Vision

To offer a place where youth can improve academic skills, develop vocational skills, experiment with a variety of hobbies, and participate in service projects. To create hope for a generation through strength found in faith. To uphold the values that teens are scared to stand for, and encourage them to find their role in community. To challenge societal norms that discourage teens from fulfilling their dreams. To let love become a primary inspiration in teens’ lives. Through these aspirations, we strive to inspire a movement that will bring hope and identity to unfulfilled teens in the local community.
